This place is so amazing! The staff were super lovely and attentive even during a rush hour! The atmosphere was immaculate, is so nice and cozy to have a cup of hot chocolate and some pie whilst listening to the nice tunes and being surrounded by such a busy but cozy decor! The variety of records and memorabilia around the store is incredible! Definetly an experience I shall be repeating!

What a gem of a place to have had lunch at! They are brill at making pies, had a steak & blue pie with couple extras added, a coffee and good company. Needless I say I devoured it all and then needed to hang around before I could be on my way moving again! The street this place is situated on is lovely, no cars allowed (apart from supply vehicles). Highly recommend!

Pies are banging here!! The Best in portsmouth. Soo much choice for vegetarian and vegan and they sell powder monkey cans which just tops it all off. Food was served promptly and lots of it! Staff were helpful and friendly giving good suggestions would definitely recommend if you need to fulfill that pie craving

Sunday brunch, and what a munch! I attended with my daughter after looking for somewhere local serving quality food, the menu is small but simple and versatile, options for meat eaters, vegan, vegetarian and everyone alike. Everything is freshly made onsite and prepared with love, the staff were friendly but not imposing, very helpful with explaining the menu which has extensive add-ons without being extreme, they just allow you to build your meal your way, My daughter had the minted lamb pie with mash and peas and gravy, she enjoyed it but noted that having minted pushy peas and mint an lamb pie was too minty, something she can correct next time and no reflection on the quality or niceness of the food, i had the Jackfruit pie with mustard mash, minty mushy peas and gravy with crispy onion and cheesy topping, wow, a real journey in the mouth, a journey, each mouthful was an explosion of flavour, the portion size is very generous, turn up hungry if you order and be prepared for musical journey in your mouth, the atmosphere adds to the experience, being surrounded by the nostalgia of talented musicians in the form of sound, really nice music playing in background and visually, your surrounded by iconic figures in photos, records (Vinyl) and musical ambiance, the tables and chairs are quirky interesting and full of historic life. Oh and tea in a Pot, with China cups, you cant go wrong, attention to detail is well thought out and enticing, screaming out care, love and thoughtfulness. The menu is fair priced and excellent value for money. Both my daughter and i agreed that it was a highlight of the area and would return solely to dine here, that was the power of the venue, quality & tastiness of the food, and fine standard of staff. Thank you thank you thank you.

Really good pie, great selection of records, lovely staff, quirky knick-knacks all over the walls.. it's all so refreshingly indie. Tiny eating area is the only downside (on a rainy day when you can't really sit outside) but overall a big recommend
